please make more 3-column themes.. and if possible, make the sidebars a bit wider. most third party widgets do not fit in the sidebar/s.
Posted by kooonin at May 19, 2009, 2:52 pmmore header graphic choices. ; )
Posted by Chikai at May 20, 2009, 4:27 amI’m not sure if this is part of the template but I notice that when I put photos from i.ph to my topic, it is always displayed as a square. So, people or objects from the left and right sides are truncated.
Is there something we can do about this?
Thanks,
Posted by reset at May 20, 2009, 4:01 pmyou guys should think of putting up new images which can be used for backgrounds. quite honestly, old ‘wallpapers’ just don’t cut it anymore.
also, try putting up a minimalist theme which is black and white. you guys only have colors like blue, and green which aren’t minimalist at all.
Posted by blimp at May 20, 2009, 6:59 pmi hope the threaded discussion can be included in your project
excited about this.
Posted by Marco at May 22, 2009, 12:18 pmI experienced title-bar problems too please have a look at this forum post for details (http://www.i.ph/forum/index.php?topic=926.0)
Posted by Maxx at May 25, 2009, 11:59 pmI’m excited about the template reboot. I hope that there will be more template choices and also, more color choices in every template available.
And also, I had problems with the header banner, I hope that there will be more header banner design or if the user(s) wants to have a personalized banner could you please include the banner size…
Posted by cristal at May 27, 2009, 5:45 pmThanks guys, we appreciate all the inputs. We’ll try our best to address all your concerns on our succeeding releases.
Please keep the comments coming.
hi i.ph team i love your blogging site in fact i’ve got one my self jakewagas.i.ph
my comments would go:
1. can you give more emphasis on videos such that bloggers like me could easily embed videos into our respective blogs, that is if this feature i’m requesting is not yet installed or made or in the other way round if its already set then can you tell me how to embed videos on my blog, right now i’m using a two column theme
2. one thing about the background can you make it more spacious but still a background ofcourse i mean can you sort of like remove the cuts made by the columns it kinda like distracts ones creativeness in his or her blog
well i think thats all i can say for now, in the future? lets see if theres going to be some changes and comments as well,, thanks in advance i.ph team YOU RULE!
Posted by jake at May 30, 2009, 11:08 pmHi, I am glad to hear about this news! Is it possible for us to have a bit of a hold on the blog’s templates?
I wish we can edit the css to mainly do the following:
- adjust the width to have a min/ max, fixed, or relative
- change the colour scheme
- adjust all other things to match a personalised template.
Lastly, being an SEO, I hope we can manage the header portion of the template for us to be able to monitor more of our site’s popularity thus increasing also the popularity of i.ph.
This is a great leap. I pray for more breakthroughs for the i.ph team! Keep it up guys.
Posted by xycris at May 31, 2009, 9:35 pmas mentioned by some of the commenters, I would like to suggest the widening of the sidebars for the three-column template.
In addition, is it possible to have customizable categories so that there are several links on the toolbar instead of just ‘Home’?
Cheers!
Posted by greatergood at June 1, 2009, 12:24 pmhi, wish the i.ph will be more picture friendly and flexible in terms of manipulating the look of the page - fonts, sizes, width of columns, - and maybe, even upload our own template? like blogspot.
and i.ph does not work on google chrome browser..
i cant post/edit when on chrome. i can only read.
Hi. Good day. Kudos to the i.ph team. It’s really nice that a free service is being developed in real time. Anyway, here are my inputs.
1. Choices. The default templates are great, however, a personal blog won’t be very personal if your blog looks very similar to your neighbor’s journal.
2. The 100mb limit stings. there are dedicated photo and music sections but won’t be very usable since upload is very limited. People would be willing to pay extra for unlimited space to retain their i.ph account.
3. Same problem with nina. I’m using google chrome but it is not supported by i.ph’s text editor.
4. When inserting photos from flickr, the browser always loads PALAWAN.

I am using the 3-column template on my blogsite at http://edzee.i.ph/ and these are the bugs I am encountering:
1. The theme looks okay when browsed using Mozilla Firefox 3.0 (MF3) but it’s another story if browsed using Internet Explorer 7 (IE7). Try browsing my site and you will see the different.
2. Adjusting the font size of my Main Title will show only one large size (maybe font size 40) if set from 70 up to 100 in MF3. Setting the font size below 70 will show only one small size (maybe font size 20) on MF3. Font size changes accordingly on IE7.
NOTE: See my readers remarks when I asked them about my site’s header at http://edzee.i.ph/blogs/edzee/2009/04/18/my-sites-header/
I will appreciate if you can correct the bugs ASAP.
Thank you.
